Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort is an 80-suite environmentally friendly 3-star resort situated within walking distance to all of Waterton's activities and amenities. The property features a wide range of facilities including a gift shop, an 18m heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and pool table.

Diverse Room Options

All upper level rooms at Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort feature vaulted ceilings and skylight. Room options range from Two Queen Standard rooms with bar fridge and microwave to Deluxe King Suites with fireplaces and soaker tubs, plus Full Kitchen Three Queen Suites that comfortably sleep up to six guests.

On-Site Restaurant

Vimy's Lounge & Grill provides a spacious casual atmosphere with mounted flat-screen TVs and full bar. The restaurant serves mouth-watering breakfast, lunch and dinner options including specialty eggs benedict, house-cut AAA Alberta steaks, and burgers.

Comfortable Stay

I stayed in the First Nations House Chief Bullhead room, and it was clean and cozy. The king bed was super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. However, I did notice a lack of bedside tables; having one on each side would be ideal. Overall, I enjoyed my time and appreciated the clean conditions despite a few minor suggestions for improvement.

Spacious Shower

The bathroom in my room featured a spacious shower that had excellent water pressure. It was refreshing to have hot water consistently available, which made for an enjoyable experience during my stay. Even though the decor might be a bit dated, the cleanliness of the bathroom was a big plus for me.

Great Pool Hours

My family and I enjoyed the pool area during our stay, which was open from 7 AM to 10 PM. It was a wonderful way to unwind after a long day of exploring. The pool area was clean, and it was nice to have ample time to enjoy the facilities, even if the area could use a bit of an update.

Amazing Restaurant Service

I had a wonderful quiet getaway at this hotel, enjoying a King size suite with a cozy fireplace and jacuzzi. It was within walking distance to everything in Waterton, making it convenient for my stay. On the downside, the wifi was quite slow, and some areas seemed a bit outdated. Overall, the hotel offers great value compared to other locations like Banff or Jasper.
